When I was a kid, I wanted to be a ballerina. After a few years, I took a camera in my hands and started spending my time trying to zoom in on everything around me, catch droplets of rain on the leaves in my mother’s garden, chase sunsets and sunrises… With time, I started doing something that I absolutely adore to this day. Portrait photography. Capturing one’s essence, feelings and thoughts in that very moment.
I was lucky enough to have some of the most amazing human beings in front of my camera. Since the world is how it is these days – and because we need feminism – I decided to put together some of my favourite photographies I ever took. I am still dreaming about my own exhibition, and one day it may happen, but until then, this virtual world will do.
